The concert “What was playing in His soul” is organized under the Honorary Patronage of the Metropolitan of Cracow, HE Archbishop Marek Jędraszewski and The Holy Father John Paul II Family Home Museum.
The world-famous virtuoso of the piano – Tomasz Trzcinski, will perform.
Tomasz Trzcinski – pianist, conductor and composer. He lives and works in Mainz. Born in 1974 in Szczecin, he studied music theory and composition at the Academy of Music in Gdansk, then piano and choral & orchestral conducting at the Music Faculty at University of Johannes Gutenberg in Mainz. Long-time participant in EuropaChorAkademie. He is a soloist, accompanist and improviser. He gained his experience in jazz under the direction of drummer Janusz Stefański and bassist Witold Reek. Knowledge regarding conducting symphonic brass bands, he gained from Felix Hauswirth and Steven Verhaert. He often combines in his improvisations the melody of Polish folk music, especially the Podhale region, with the means of modern piano – both classical and jazz.
